Trick-or-Treat Lane coming soon to Airport High School
by Reagan S.
Airport High School is hosting a community wide trick-or-treat event from 6:30 through 8:30 on October 27.
According to Mr. Rivers, a teacher and coach here at Airport High School, “Trick-or-treat lane is an activity that Airport does to give the community a safe place to go and trick-or-treat.”
Airport High School tries to give the community this one night to have fun, dress up, and get tons of candy.
Airport aims for this to be a safe way for kids to have fun for Halloween.
Trick-or-treat lane will have classroom doors decorated with fun Halloween decorations, games, and food.
Kids and parents will be able to walk around the school and get candy and see all the classroom doors.
This tradition has been going on for over 10 years, and it never disappoints.
“It’s all about having a safe and fun place for kids to celebrate Halloween," says Rivers.
There are a lot of clubs and groups at Airport and around the community that come and help out to make it as enjoyable as possible.
Last year, some seniors did a haunted hallway, separate from the actual walk. Everyone of all ages could walk through and see what it was all about.
From previous years Rivers states, “There's upwards of a thousand kids that come each year.”
