Review of the 12 Carat Tour from Post Malone

by Reagan S.

Student favorite, Post Malone, wows crowd with his 12 Carat Tour.

The 12 Carat Tour brought so many fans of all ages together with its range of variety. Roddy Ricch was his opener, and he did very well. He was a good performer and really hyped the crowd up for the headliner himself, Post Malone.

Post Malone put his own spin on all his songs and dancing. He made the crowd laugh and was very funny. For example, while singing his more upbeat songs, he would jump and prance around. Singing his slower songs, he would get down on the ground and you could just see the emotion in his face and hear the heartbreak in his voice.

He also played songs from all of his albums. He played old songs and songs from his latest album. It was a little nostalgic hearing songs from his older albums that I listened to when I was younger.

Post Malone was an amazing crowd entertainer. He interacted with the crowd, made jokes, and included the audience in his singing. It made the experience so much more enjoyable.

“Great concert. I have a lot of respect for Post Malone as an artist after seeing him perform. He pours so much emotion into his work and it is very evident in his work.” says Karsyn R., a student at Airport High School.

Seeing an artist perform live is so much different than just listening to him on the radio or from your phone. You can truly see all the emotion and hard work they put into their work. “Concerts are a way for people who appreciate music, and people who don’t appreciate music, to have a great time,” states Karsyn.

From the Indy Star, Rory Appleton says, “There was presence and connection” in his review of the tour. An unknown reviewer from The Guardian states, “Enchant the audience with the sheer emotion of his voice.

The 12 Carat Tour was my first and so far favorite concert. I give the entire experience a 10/10. Me and my mom got the tickets on Ticketmaster. It was an amazing concert and he was an awesome performer. It was great for it to be my first concert.
