JaNaysia T. is a Junior at Airport High School and she loves to talk about her life at Airport High School. I know her from Junior ROTC and thought the readers of The Eyrie might want to know more about JaNaysia because she is an Honors chorus student and will be performing on December 3rd.
Our interview took place on September 29th on Instagram. Overall, it was a quick and easy interview.
JiMyriah: What are your thoughts on Airport High School?
JaNaysia: My thoughts on Airport are that it’s very different. There’s always a fight happening every other day.
JiMyriah: What are your favorite things about Airport High School?
JaNaysia: My favorite thing about Airport is the teachers.
JiMyriah: What are your thoughts about the change in time from class starting at 8:25 and school ending at 3:35, instead of class starting at 8:30 and ending at 3:30?
JaNaysia: I think they shouldn’t have changed the times because some people have things to do.
JiMyriah: Do you feel like you have more responsibilities when you come to Airport High School?
JaNaysia: Yes.
JiMyriah: What do you think about your classes this semester?
JaNaysia: I love my classes this semester.
JiMyriah: Would you rather be like some schools and have 8 classes instead of 4?
JaNaysia: Yes. I’m so used to having 8 classes each semester.
JiMyriah: Have you ever taken innovation classes? If so, how were they? Do you plan to take them in the future?
JaNaysia: No.
JiMyriah: What do you think about the teachers at Airport High School?
JaNaysia: Some teachers I don’t like, but most teachers I love.
JiMyriah: Do you feel like these teachers are doing their best to prepare you for the real world or college? If not, why?
JaNaysia: Yes. Most of them are anyway.
JiMyriah: Do you think the administration prepares you for the real world or college? If not, why?
JaNaysia: Yes.
JiMyriah: Do you ever think about what you’re going to do after high school?
JaNaysia: Yes.
JiMyriah: Do you ever think about your friends leaving you after they graduate since they are seniors and you’re a junior?
JaNaysia: Yes.
JiMyriah: Do you think middle school was harder than high school? If not, why?
JaNaysia: Kinda. I thought middle school was harder than high school.
JiMyriah: What was your favorite year of high school so far, and why?
JaNaysia: Last year, because I made a lot of friends and finally came out of my shy shell.
JiMyriah: Thank you for the interview!
