On September 22, 2025, at the age of 14, a beautiful soul left this earth. Zuza Beine, a TikTok star who had inspired millions of people with her resistance against her cancer, finally lost her battle with this terrible disease. Zuza had shown that even if you have cancer, you can still have a normal life. She was a strong person that she even had beaten her cancer five times before she succumbed to it. Zuza will be remembered by millions from all over the world for her awareness of cancer and bringing light into it.
Beine was born on July 1, 2011 in Waukesha, Wisconsin to her parents Ryan and Dagmara Beine had Zuza and her brother Fin.
She had lived a remote life but in her earlier years of her childhood she was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia at the age of three and a half. For 11 years out of the 14 years of her life she had three bone marrow transplant treatments.
During that time Zuza had made Tiktok videos on her phone about her journey against cancer. She was in a tiktok group called the Glowed House where she was surrounded by people who cherished, loved and considered her as family.
In response to Zuza's death, multiple of the Glow house members had reached out to the Zuza family to support them in this hard time.
During a video, her best friend Samara said, “ Zuza I love you, and I always will, you will always, always will be with me.”
Another Glowhouse member Lei Lei posted, “I will forever miss you. You're one of the sweetest people I’ve genuinely met.”
I asked Emmalyn F, a student at AHS what her opinion was about Zuza death. Her response was “ I also feel bad that she died because she looks like a very sweet girl and I'll pray for her that she's in heaven.”
Beine's legacy will be remembered forever from her courage, resilience, from her power in the online community through the openness about her battling childhood cancer.
The contribution that Beine made was that she was never defined by her illness, she became a voice that brought the truth about childhood cancer. Through the course of her life she never let it define her. Years from now she will be one of the legends that will be remembered in history.
Beine is predeceased by her uncle, Olaf Stieber. Zuza is survived by her mom, Dagmara Beine; her dad, Ryan Beine; her brother, Fin Beine; her aunt,(Lauren Stieber)
Zuza's funeral will be held private with friends and family. To keep her legacy alive Zuza would have wanted any donations to go to her uncle's wife and children. You can donate to Lauren Stieber and her family through this Go Fund Me.
The sources that I've used for this article are Zuza tiktok page, her mothers instagram, and also my prior knowledge about this situation.
