My recent trip to Tennessee

Over the summer, me and my family decided it would be  a good experience to go to Tennessee. We visited Pigeon Forge, and I made so many fun memories. Visiting this area is very popular among AHS students, and I was finally glad to have my chance to go.

It was me, my younger sister, my two younger brothers, my step mom and my dad and  everyday  we were there was a different adventure. My trip made me learn things about myself that I never even knew before. In this article I will go into detail about the things I experienced during my stay in Tennessee and why I think it was such a great part of my summer. 

Tennessee is home to the largest underground waterfall in the US, and is commonly visited for people to view it. It is called Ruby Falls and it's in Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga, Tennessee. It was discovered in  1928 and gets over 500,000 visits per year.

There are plenty of other fun things to do in Tennessee as well, such as Dolly World, other amusement parks, museums, and so many unique restaurants and other activities that are super interesting. 

While I was on my trip we were there for five days and we did something interesting every day. We went to various delicious restaurants, we went to a mini fair/ amusement park and we rode go-carts and other rides, and we went to WonderWorks in Pigeon Forge, which was really fun and interesting. We went on a mountain roller coaster, and we stayed in a  wooden cabin on the mountains. Tennessee is known for their bears in the mountains so while we were staying at the cabins we got to see some bears before we left.

My sister, who is twelve years old and went with us, said, ¨Going to Tennessee was probably my favorite part of summer, I loved how we did something fun everyday.” I agree with what she said because it was never boring while we were there, except for the fact that we didn't have wifi the first 3 days.

My brother said, ¨Yeah I liked going to Tennessee and the rides were fun but my favorite part was the food.” We had so much good food while we were there,  the food was so good and they have so many restaurants in pigeon forge for people who want to try new things and make new memories

An article states that pigeon forge consists of “thrilling attractions and award winning shows to countless options of dining, shopping, and places to stay¨ pigeon forge is a widely known area in tennessee and  its mainly known for the amount of attractions it has. There's things in pigeon forge like trampoline parks, fairs, museums, wonderworks, mountain rides, zoos, and so many other interesting places. Pigeon forge gets over 11 million visits each year. Overall this was a very new and interesting experience for me because I never traveled out of state and I did a lot of things Ii never saw myself doing before. I think it's an amazing experience and it's a great place to go if you're new to traveling
