Most teachers at AHS in need of improvement

Here at Airport, most students have that one teacher they love and maybe even some they hate. In short, not all teachers are fantastic. In my opinion, there are more bad than good. To say it another way, most teachers at Airport are in need of improvement and something needs to be done to make them better.
The first way to show that teachers need improvement is by identifying their areas of weakness, one of which is very bad teaching abilities. Some examples of bad teaching include students not understanding the assignment because the teacher does not explain it well enough. A good teacher would make the info clearer so that fewer students are confused. Furthermore, other examples of bad teaching are lecturing too much, being off topic given content area, sitting at their desk all period, and not giving kids enough time to complete assignments. These teachers to me are bad teachers. They could be better if they varied their teaching methods, stayed on topic (like if they are a math teacher, they should spend the class teaching math), they could walk around the room to monitor / give feedback / help kids more, and they should not have such quick deadlines for work.
Another way to defend my position has to do with the level of respect that teachers show towards the students, or lack thereof. Teachers are not having respect toward kids. An example of teachers not respecting students is a teacher giving a student an attitude for asking for help on an assignment. Another example is a teacher having a favorite student and choosing who she wants to like and have respect for. Getting frustrated or having an attitude when you have to help a kid is literally the exact opposite of a teacher’s job description, and liking some kids more than others disrespects those who aren’t the teacher’s favorite.
The third reason I say that teachers here can and should do better is with their lack of empathy. Teachers are not understanding or being sympathetic to kids when they got stuff going on with their personal life. I have personally experienced this over the past month. I was out of school for about 2-3 weeks due to a passing in my family, and when I came back to school I was expected to take a 50 question test on a book I wasn't able to read. I feel like I should've been given a few days to at least read some of the book just to be fair with the other students. A better teacher would have more empathy for me and give me more time.
In response to my position that most teachers at AHS could do better, I suspect many people here will disagree. They would likely cite the many hardworking folks around here. Indeed, many teachers are good at AHS, like Parker, Rasmussen, Brown Hope, and others. However, those teachers are the exceptions to the rule. While these teachers do try to care, there are some who don't care about students' education and just care about what they want to care about, and most are not as good as them.
In conclusion, while some teachers do care and are great, those that aren't need to step their game up to those teachers' level.
