One popular subgenre of TikTok accounts right now is running content.  Several TikTok accounts focused on running are currently trending, especially those sharing running tips, motivational content, race highlights, and creative workout challenges. Accounts like @the_runners_corner, @runningwithcody, and @marathonmom have gained popularity recently for their engaging content, fitness advice, and personal running journeys. Running-related hashtags like #RunningTok, #MarathonTraining, and #RunnersLife is also seeing high engagement, signaling that this niche is quite active right now.  Accounts that I personally follow are @runclubgirl , @celiaparker8 and sarah_g1303

I began  running a year ago and ever since then I  run and I enjoy waking up almost every Saturday to run  . I was inspired to run by watching Tik Tok influencers run early in the morning. They recorded themselves from waking up and getting ready to end their runs with a healthy meal . I asked myself if I was capable of waking up early just to run . I’m not a pro runner but I decided to try it for myself, and I successfully accomplished this objective. I try to run three  days a week and  always assure myself it's for my health  .

  1. Ask yourself why you need to run.

25% of U.S adults participate in running or jogging and 72% run to stay healthy and in shape. Maybe us teens need to also be motivated to run for our health .

Jose L., a senior from Airport High School stated, “Every time I run I  feel the stress leave my body and running slowly is better than running at a fast pace .“ He also stated “if you ever need to do a job or anything  you  are already experienced  because you're already conditioned. “

  1. Treat yourself after every run at least once.

After the morning run reward yourself with at least one sweet  like a donut or just something you've been craving try not to eat it everyday at least once or twice a week eating healthy is great but one treat wont hurt this reward is gonna give you energy and you won't get bored of running .

  1. Bring a partner.

Running alone  can feel lonely sometimes so consider bringing a partner to run with  like a best friend or a family member bringing them can motivate yourself to get out of bed knowing if you don't get out of bed your gonna let down your family member or best friend

  1.  Create a music playlist , podcast etc

Mostly everyone listens to music. Creating a music playlist or listening to a podcast can fill you up with  positivity and create rhythm  not only that but  listening to music can distract you and make you run longer .

  1. Tracking journal

Tracking how long you run  can motivate you because each time you record your length you get excited and wanna beat the score and can even create confidence because you know you are capable.

  1. Put an alarm

Sometimes our body doesnt wanna get up but once you hear that alarm you're gonna know it's time to move. Putting an alarm is a powerful  reminder to get up and helps waking up a habit.

  1.  Visualize the feeling of going to sleep fresh because of that run

Before you go to sleep your legs might be sore but you're gonna feel great, picture  yourself stepping into  a nice warm shower you're gonna know you earned that .

  1.  Layout the clothes and shoes your gonna wear

Having all your gear ready is gonna make you wanna get up knowing you planned your outfit the night before  which means you already committed to running . Preparing what you're gonna wear each day  can build a habit .

Waking up early to run takes discipline, but there are rewards like physical strength, feeling good mentally  and a confident start to your day. By applying these eight strategies, you’re not just building a habit, you're building flexibility and confidence.  Try waking  up tomorrow morning  and remind yourself that each 6 a.m. run is another step towards  becoming the best version of yourself. For more support there's apps like Map My run , slimkit and Nike run club. They are great to track your journey which can  start  now !! inspire others to run with you.
