A few weeks ago, the Airport High School football team lost 44-0 to Aiken. The game was played at Aiken Highschool at around 5:00 pm.

Airport High School's lack of defense caused them to lose by 44, leaving multiple of their offense open for the catch.

This is the first season for the new head Football Coach / Athlete Director this year.

This is a rocky start to yet another losing year.  The win-loss record  for the last three years, found on Maxpreps, is as follows.  <add info

Naomi L, who was at the game, said they weren't focused and weren’t paying attention to the offense.

Another person who was interviewed, Daniel B., said that they think they could use more players on their team to cover any open spots on the field during games  and some more practice and structure for their team and need more practice time for their team for a more chance to practice. Daniel also said players should be practicing after school or days they don't have practice. Practice over the summer is good too. Daniel shared some of his favorite drills and non favorite drills he does during practice.

Lastly, Ben H. said he agrees with Daniels statement but Ben has different opinions about the drills and the need for more practice hours. Ben doesn't really agree about the more hours of practice. Ben told me that the separate football classes get together and do practice games with each other to test each other
