Clash Royale game update review
Clash Royale has had the best update yet. If you play now you can get many rewards including gold and gems. Clash Royale has about one million players online daily so finding a match won’t take long. For those who don’t know, Clash Royale is a mobile game in the strategy game genre. Unlike console or PC games, mobile games are typically the ones people play on their phones. You can play these games on the go. Clash Royale is a strategic game which means decision making skills are key to good outcomes. It was first launched on March 2, 2016, and the update came out a week ago on October 25, 2021. It was developed by Supercell, the creators of Clash of Clans. Clash Royale has had many updates since launch but has the best one this season.
This update was by far the best update. It included a new level, new champions, lots of gold, gems, and a new chest. There haven't been many updates with a big change in the game besides when Clan Wars 2 was added. The difference being Clan Wars 2 was a failure and many people didn't like it. They wanted the original Clan Wars. In a Clan War you go against other clans and do battles to gain points. Once you reach a certain amount of points, you cross a finish line and win. But this update was more favorable to the free-to-play players. These people don’t spend a penny on a game. With all the resources they received for free, it's like paradise for them.
When the game launched, it didn’t have legendary cards. But when they were added, they were hard to acquire. Overtime, with other updates, the chances of getting a legendary went down. It was easier to get a legendary but it would still be a bit rare, just not as rare as before. In this update, you got free chests and in those chests you get free legendaries. You had a one hundred percent chance of getting a legendary. This is always a good thing since most people want to get as many legendaries as possible to upgrade them.
This update is unique compared to the other updates in the past. All of Clash Royales updates were using the same formula, new chest and new cards, which was getting boring to the players. The only good updates were back in late 2016 and early 2017. The update included new chests, new challenges, new cards and new events. It was just another plain update but in that update came along clan battles. With the clan battles people seemed to enjoy it. With clan battles came clan chests, that meant more rewards. This kept most players entertained for a couple of months. After that update, all others were just simple and ordinary updates. Now compare that to the October update this year. It's a major difference. One had an easy way to get gold, the others didn’t. One had easy ways to get legendaries, the others didn’t. One had a new rarity, the others didn’t. One had a new level, the others didn’t. One had an upgrade cost reduction, the others didn’t. With all these new perks it almost seems like they got new developers and put their ideas in the game.
Some people didn’t like the update since it came with any bugs and glitches. Some glitches were Level 11 players somehow being Level 14 when the update dropped. This meant they got rewards that other players couldn’t get since they were lower leveled. Some people are having problems getting in the game itself. Based on AppGrooves.com, people were leaving negative reviews on the game because of the new update. One user stated they had to delete the game due to the app failing to update. Since this was a very big update this means it comes with bugs or glitches. We have seen this before with other games such as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Cyberpunk 2077. Both of these games were huge sellers but were filled with bugs. Through updates and maintenance breaks, the bugs can be patched so it's only a matter of time. In fact there has been a maintenance break this past Thursday. One of the issues fixed was giving people their true level back. The developers of the app stated, “If you’ve been promoted to Level 14 incorrectly, we will downgrade you to your true level.” Other bugs will most likely be fixed in the future so give it time if you are having trouble.
Students at Airport seem to enjoy this game. John U. has played Clash Royale for over four years. John likes all the items everyone has gotten for free. He said, “It’s almost as if Supercell is buying us cards, gold, and gems.”
Octavio, another student from Airport, said he liked the update even though he doesn't play much. He only enjoys the coins you can get in the game so he can upgrade his cards to max level.
Clash Royale has had the best update in a while. This update seemed to put more life into the game. From launch it has been a decent game but as we now see, it’s a game changer. The game has a 4.3 out of 5 stars on the play store but if Supercell can keep updates as big as this, we will see that rise.
