CiCi's Pizza review
It's a sunny Saturday. You just finished doing a bit of homework and chores in the morning. You have a few bucks in your pocket and a hankering for something to eat. Where should you go? I recommend CiCi's Pizza. The specific location I am referencing is at 6120 St Andrews Rd, Columbia, SC 29212, but there are many other locations as it is a chain. Founded in 1958 by Joe Croce, within just a few short years CiCi’s grew to over 500 locations, including the one that is the subject of this review. While an often overlooked fast casual restaurant, the amazing buffet has affordable food, yummy pizza and kind service.
CiCi’s affordable pizza is the best by far. With such a variety of different pizzas to choose from on the buffet for just $6.79, according to CiCis.com, it is hands down the best for your wallet. Other pizza joints are more expensive. Just a large pizza from Little Caesars is $6.00 on its own according to their online menu. On Domino’s online menu, a large pizza is $9.99. A large pizza from Papa John’s is $15.00 on their menu and Bellichino’s large pizza is up to $15.99 depending on how many toppings one might want. No need to worry about the amount of pizza one will get from CiCi’s though, because for just $6.79, he or she can eat any amount of pizza he pleases. This price also includes salad as well, which is also on a bar. As many trips as a person wants for just $6.79!!! Why would you not love CiCi's?
Not only is the price of CiCi’s pizza great, the taste of the pizza is great too. They have so many different kinds of pizzas. They have your average cheese, pepperoni and supreme pizzas, but then they also have pizza in deep dish form, pizza without pizza sauce, alfredo pizzas, macaroni pizzas, buffalo chicken pizzas, barbecue chicken pizza, cheesy bread and multiple dessert pizzas. All of which are very yummy. They also have a great salad bar too if a bit of crunch is needed on the side of some delicious pizza. The salad bar is always fresh and has all the vegetables and dressings one could want.
Along with the price and taste of CiCi’s pizza, the service is always spectacular too. The CiCi’s workers always greet you right when you walk in the door with a “Welcome to CiCi’s” and a smile on their face. Definitely makes you feel comfortable. Then, while choosing pizzas off the bar, the workers ask what pizza customers would like next and they gladly prepare that pizza for you.
Admittedly, some might criticize CiCi’s for not being of the highest quality or the healthiest. No pizza is really too healthy, so if you are looking for a super healthy meal, CiCi’s is not the best place to go. Their pizzas are also not the thickest of pizzas like Papa John’s or Domino’s, which hints as to why they probably cost more. Nonetheless, CiCi’s is still an amazing place to enjoy an all you can eat meal.
Airport High School students also love CiCi’s pizza just as much as I do. Two girls were asked, “What do you think about CiCi’s pizza buffet and why?” The first girl, Gracyn C., a senior, responded with, “I think CiCi’s buffet is very good, it has a variety of different food choices and all of them are delicious.”
The second girl, Pete D., a recent Airport graduate, answered in a similar manner with, “I love it! I like it because it offers a wide variety of pizza, salad toppings and desserts.” Both girls really enjoy CiCi’s and if you are ever near one, you should definitely go!
CiCi’s, an A- pizza joint in my opinion, is one-hundred percent recommended by me and Airport High School students. With its affordable price, yummy food and nice workers, you are bound to have a great experience when you eat at CiCi’s pizza. So go! Enjoy as much of that delicious pizza as you want! It is only $6.79!
