Chick-Fil-A is better than other fast food chains

“Eat Mor Chickin” is the phrase we all know and love. We also know and love the food the restaurant with this slogan serves: Chick-Fil-A, a billion dollar fast food chain company that operates more than 2,723 restaurants. It only has locations in the US, UK, and Canada. A fast food chain that makes that much money and isn’t even global has got to be good, right? S. Truett Cathy founded the restaurant in 1946 and later changed the name to Chick-Fil-A in 1961 after he discovered a pressure-fryer that could cook chicken as fast as one can cook a cheeseburger. I indeed, think that Chick-Fil-A does a better job at preparing their food which includes their chicken, fries, and nuggets. They also have fairly good restaurant hygiene and keep their environment clean. Their service speed is also quicker than others and they serve food fast and warm. These attributes lead me to believe that Chick-Fil-a is better than other fast food chains.

Unlike other fast food restaurants, Chick-fil-a dips their chicken into pickle oil to add extra flavor to it so that it can get a juicy taste when you take a bite of it. McDonalds on the other hand uses the chicken breast bone and they mix it in a grinder along with some chicken skin and seasoning to get their nuggets. Their crispy chicken sandwiches are some chicken fillet with rib meat. The thing with McDonalds is that to me it lacks the flavor that Chick-Fil-A has since McDonalds doesn’t seem like they add some extra seasoning to their sandwiches and chicken.

When it comes to restaurant hygiene, Chick-Fil-A has undoubtedly some of the best hygiene around their restaurants. Restaurant hygiene is always important because it makes you feel better when you know that your food is being prepared in a sanitized environment. While restaurant hygiene can’t be perfect, some restaurants have better hygiene than others. Chick-Fil-A’s restaurant hygiene is fairly better when compared to other restaurants like McDonalds. Overall Chick-Fil-A locations are better at staying clean than other chains around the US.

The speed in which customers get their food is important for most people but others don’t mind waiting a little extra. Since Chick-Fil-A has a ton of employees in many of their locations to bring food fast and warm, its customer service sets it apart from other chains. From my personal experience from several other fast food chains some take forever to roll orders out. If the restaurants can’t serve people the food they ordered fast enough then the customers could start to get mad and start to complain. Now there are exceptions like when a restaurant holds an event like buy two get two free, then there would be a tremendous amount of people storming the place to try and get the deal. Overall Chick-Fil-A’s service is the best out of other chains simply because they move fast and efficiently.

Now, people could completely disagree with some of these reasons simply because Chick-Fil-A’s prices are pretty high compared to other places. It could cost up to $10-12 to buy a meal from Chick-Fil-A when you could get something that you prefer for maybe ¾ of the price elsewhere. There have been controversies in the past regarding Chick-Fil-A’s religious views and organizations that they support. Chick-Fil-A has donated to an organization that opposes same-sex marriage. This caused students who had a restaurant on their campus to go against it and try to get it removed. A mayor in Boston and Chicago both said they hoped to block Chick-Fil-A’s business expansion in the area in response to the chain's actions. Later on Chick-Fil-A released a statement saying, “We are a restaurant company focused on food, service, and hospitality; our intent is to leave the policy debate over same-sex marriage to the government and political arena.” In response to others' opposite opinions I would say the ingredients that Chick-Fil-A uses and the added flavor it adds is enough to make the ones who agree with me pay the extra dollars just to get the tasty meal. With regard to the other point, politics don't have anything to do with how good the food is at Chick-Fil-A and no viewpoint, however much I personally disagree with it, will stop me from eating their delicious chicken.

I asked Tyler W., a sophomore at AHS what his favorite fast food restaurant was and he said, “I don’t really have a favorite restaurant, I just eat what I find good and fills me up.”

While not everyone has as strong an opinion on Chick-Fil-A as I do, let this article be proof it is the best.
