Beyoncé’s upcoming Renaissance tour coming near South Carolina; students react to possibility of see

Beyoncé, also known as Queen Bey, is going on an electric tour very soon! On August 9, 2023 Queen Bey will be performing in Charlotte, North Carolina! Students of Airport High School have a lot to say about this exciting news.

Two students from Airport share their opinions on Beyoncé and her tour.

The students were asked the question how they felt about Beyoncé as an artist.

Amare J., a freshman at Airport responds, "I feel like she is very inspirational to people, you know, she is up here, she is up here.” The student says while holding her hand high above her head to express her admiration for Beyoncé.

Makayla F., a freshman as well, responds, “I think she's a good role model for all these black queens nowadays you know?”

Next the students were asked would they like to go see Beyoncé live on her upcoming Renaissance tour and why?

Makayla F. responds, “ Yes, I have never been to one of her concerts and it might be really fun!”

Amare J. reponds, “ I mean, I really wanna go to one of her concerts but I don’t have the money so I would love to go i somebody else payed for me”

The girls were next asked what is their favorite Beyonce song and why?

Makayla F. responds, “ “Cuff it” because it is just a good song to listen to, it’s a vibe.”

Amare F responds, “ My favorite song would probably be who run the world (Girls), It’s just a vibe.”

Following, the girls were asked have they ever been to a Beyonce concert before, and if so, which tour.

Amare J. responds, “I have never been to a Beyonce concert but my mom has been to one.””

Makayla F. responds, “No I have not been to none.”
