A recent review of an older film, The Corpse Bride

By Lakayla T.P.

Many AHS students are familiar with scrolling on Netflix, and feel there is no good option. With Halloween having recently occurred, one movie that is fresh on my mind that other students may want to watch is Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride. Read this article to see why this is such a great movie to watch.

The movie Tim Burton's Corpse Bride was originally premiered at the 62nd Venice International Film Festival On September 7, 2005 ,Then weeks later Released into movie theaters on September 23 ,2005 in the United States Originally on October 13,also in 2005. This movie was also nominated for  Best Animated feature at the 78th Academy Awards Every year.

This  movie had a 55-week Shoot and included 109,440 individually Animated frames set up and filmed. There were multiple Puppets that had to be created for this movie, so that more of the scenes could be accomplished in a shorter period of time. There were fourteen puppets created of the bride and Victor, and thirteen created of Victoria.

By the time Tim Burton began directing ‘’The Corpse bride’’ the Film had been 10 years in the making. Tim was set on making another stop-motion Film and wanted to make sure he perfected the people he picked out for this movie . Allison abbate, who was a producer on ‘’ The Nightmare Before Christmas’’ also helped Tim burton make his ideas into reality.

The first reason I like the movie is because it's a warm hearted movie to show you to love one another no matter what happens in life and to Never give up on each other.

Another reason why I like this movie is because I love all the details in the movie. The characters look amazing but my all time favorites are obviously the main characters which are Emily and victor.

I also like this movie because it is a love story and who doesn't like romantic stories , and you also get multiple meaningful messages. Not only is it for older kids but for younger ones also so family time everyone can have a great time.

Finally, why I like this movie is because the whole movie is beautifully put together and everything is so nice but the movie has a happily ever after ending which everyone loves!

Angelina G, my classmate, says that it's a good movie and that it's cool how he brings somebody back from the dead if he does not want to marry the girl.

Jourdan W. says, "Its good, I guess. It was so beautiful. It was true full and so relatable to life."

In sum, it seems like people like it all around.
