15 family-friendly fair rides
The State Fair has been in South Carolina for 150 years. It comes every year for around 12 days. It all goes back to 1869, when the State Agricultural and Mechanical Society of South Carolina was created to “sponsor” a state fair. As the years went by, the fair grew bigger and more people came. It came to a point where the state fair was no longer in its original location. In 1904, the fair moved from Elmwood Avenue location to Rosewood Drive location.
The state fair has a variety of rides. They range from kids, family-friendly, and grown adult rides. By grown adult rides, it means that whoever is riding a ride has to have a good stomach and isn’t afraid of heights or how fast a ride goes.
