Tips for prom
Everyone has always looked forward to their senior prom of high school. It’s a big event any senior is allowed to attend to. Preparing for it is always the biggest disadvantage because it’s the day where one has to look perfect in front of all their classmates. One has to find the perfect outfit, hairstyle, makeup, and even nails.
The first order of business is finding the right dress. Anyone can find a dress from Dillard’s, Belk’s, or David’s Bridal. If you want to find THE right dress it would be somewhere other than those stores because one has a good chance of having the same dress as someone else. There’s no need to waste $500 to $1000 on the perfect one, but most likely you’ll have to travel to get it. Online shopping is never a go to either, there has been many cases where the girl doesn’t get their dress in time for prom or doesn’t fit or just simply doesn’t look as good as it did in the picture. It will mostly depend on your skin complexion and body type for the right sized fit.
Next is finding a hairstyle that suits you. All girls look beautiful with their hair done in those trendy updos but not all are necessary. Doing the most to your hair will only grab peoples attention to that only instead of focusing on how amazing you look in that newly bought dress. Keeping it plain and simple is always the answer to look beautiful on the perfect day.
Makeup is the next/biggest step for looking your best on prom. It does not matter if you decide to cake your face or go all natural. Whatever makes you feel comfortable in your skin as long as the makeup is done right. A lot of times cakey foundation looks good when done in a certain way.
While there are many more tips for how females can get ready for prom, these three can get any lady started.
