Students give opinions on weather make-up days

In school the makeup of days have always been questioned anytime there is any weather occurrence or other event that prevents school from opening when it should on a normal school day.

In AHS two students named Jeru R. and John M. recently gave their opinions on the make-up of school days.The interview that took place was on February 1-2 of 2018.

Students’ insight on the make-up days in school varied from the person a little bit. It let the students give their one thoughts of how everything was.It gets brought up every now and then but is never really fully talked about in detailed of how the makeup days for school are for students.It can give out information that can be learned from the students.

When the two students were interviewed what stuck out was their own individual responses.They both believed that it is something that needs to be used.They really didn't see any problem with it that much.When they were asked what would they would change about they would both say kinda that the way the makeup days are used should be used against holidays or breaks instead of using it on normal days just to make school longer.

John M.,a student at AHS said,”Most definitely because there is [sic] a certain requirement by the state that student have to be in class for a certain amount of time,sot makes sense”.

Jeru R.,a student at AHS, added,”Yeah, probably seven as a whole week,” for the number days he thinks need to be made up.

John M. also said that the make-up days "could help them further their education, learn a little bit more than they have learned from the days that they had missed, things like that.”

Jeru R. and John M. are pretty much o.k. with this rule. They have a few stuff that they didn't agree on.The way they spoke about this topic was kinda similar. There wasn't any really worries about the make-up days.

There are school districts that brought up making more days at the end of the year in the month of June.There was talk of making the school days longer.They are thinking of ways of making up the school days.They are trying to come up with new ideas.
