Solution to so-called bad pizza problem
At Airport High School, some of the students get free lunch, and a few may tell you that it isn't a gourmet meal. While we know the lunch ladies do their best to create edible lunch for us to get through the day, there is another cheap choice students can create themselves to bring for lunch, and that's homemade pizza.
Here are a few steps and ingredients you'll need to make a tasty and affordable lunch or dinner.
Ingredients needed:
Pizza dough (Frozen, homemade, or canned)
Tomato sauce (Canned or homemade)
Cheese of your choice
Toppings such as pepperoni, ham, bacon, spinach, sausage, etc
Directions:
Get all required ingredients (see list above) and cookware needed for this meal. Then preheat the oven at 375 degrees.
Spread pizza dough on a lightly greased pan to desired thickness.
Pour a generous amount of tomato sauce on the now-spread pizza dough and add cheese and toppings.
Put pizza into the preheated oven and let cook for 9-13 minutes or until crust and cheese are golden brown.
Remove pizza from oven and cut it into the desired amount of slices.
Store uneaten pizza in a plastic bowl in the refrigerator until ready to eat again.
Now you have a cheap and tasty lunch you can eat one day to indulge in a delicious lunch instead of the lunch here at school. This recipe can be alternated to your liking unlike the pizza at school that you have to get the way it's made.
What type of person doesn't like pizza anyways? I know, a weirDOUGH!
