Student body elections take place

This past week student body ran for positions in student government.

Chris Stanley won Student Body President, Trace Wingard won Student Body Vice President, Carlene Hall won Student Body Secretary, and Mattie O’Quinn won Student Body Treasurer.

The students also running for these positions--Trinity Wiley, Courtnie Wooten, Kallie Richbourg, and Angell Weaver--worked very hard the previous week, and they did a wonderful job on their campaigns.

The elects are very relieved that campaigning is finally over, and they can't wait to work next year.

Class elections took place the week after Student Body elections, and they went very smoothly.

You can still apply for Senate, forms are available in the nook and are due May 10, 2017!!
