As school year comes to close students reflect
Challenging. Productive. Positive. As the school years draws to an end students all around Airport have been reflecting on their long school year. The good and the not so good, it's all been apart of their growing process.
When asked what was the most challenging part of her year Fatou Jah, junior at Airport, said making friends was hard for her. But she finally settled down with a group of nice group of friends.
"One thing I did this year that I think I will remember for the rest of my life is I finally made all a's. I never made all a's before and I finally did it. I still remember when when I told my grandpa he was the happiest man alive. He was happy for me,” Javon Riley, current junior here at Airpor, reminisced when asked about something from this year she'll remember for the rest of her life.
This year seemed rewarding for the most part, “I got into girls state.” Miyah, another junior at Airport, said was one of her proudest accomplishments this year.
“If I could change one thing about this year it would be my absences,” Shante Khrumah said, looking back on how many days she's missed. She says next year she'll try not to miss so many days.
Hopefully, next year will be everyone's best year yet.
