Airport boys' tennis team starts 2017 season

Here at Airport High School these past couple of weeks the Boys Tennis Team has started their 2017 season and what they hope can be a really good one at that!

These events are important to Airport High School because this is an Airport sport and it's showing that a team that's not really heard of can make its voice heard and be a top sport here at Airport High School.

For our first match we went against Ridgeview High School. This match was a tough one and we knew that if we worked hard and believed in ourselves that we can overcome it and come on top with the dub, but in the end we didn't have enough fight in us and dropped it to Ridgeview 4-3.

For our second match we went against South Aiken High School. We knew this match was gonna be a hard one to overcome because South Aiken is a top 4A team and they are the top team in our region. We all try our hardest but no one won and we came it with the loss 0-6.

Some of the key opponents that strive us to do our best is Jeremy B., our best tennis player on the team, said that “I lead these guys each and every match and i tell them that they can do it and most of the time, they do it.” This team has extreme faith in the season and we can't wait to play more matches and get even more better.
