College should be free

Vermont Senator and onetime presidential candidate Bernie Sanders once said, “Every person in this country who has the desire and ability should be able to get all the education they need regardless of the income of their family. This is not a radical idea. In Germany, Scandinavia and many other countries, higher education is either free or very inexpensive. We must do the same.” Sanders argues that countries can have a good economy in which they don't have to have their people pay for college. If colleges were free, there wouldn't be any worries as to how people's parents or themselves would pay for it.

The first reason why college should be free is because some families can't afford it. College itself is a lot of money and just in general some families can't afford it due to their low income, and this is stopping kids that may deserve to go to college not be able to go. With this, kids deserve to go to college despite having to pay an amount if there parents make low income.

Another reason why college should be free is that the college itself already has tons of money and they honestly shouldn't force kids parents to pay money that they don't have to send their kids to college. Colleges already have tons of money due to past enrollees paying their way in and money from the government so making new kids trying to get in pay their way in isn't really that needed due to all the money they already have. They'll basically just have money that they don't need and it'll just sit around or they'll waste it on something. Now, let's explain the final reason.

Another reason why college should become free is because trying to get to college for these kids can be real stressful, so why would would put even more stress on them and make money a problem. Making the kids worry about something else such as where are they gonna get the money for college from, is a bad thing to do because their already stressing over college and this new experience.

So in conclusion these are the reasons to why I believe college should become free to all kids. Making them pay for college is a bad thing to do because they may have their own reasons to why they can't come up with the money.
