Airport takes senior picture then freezes for mannequin challenge

Seniors at Airport High School recently took their senior class picture. This event took place on Wednesday, November 16. Every fellow senior for graduation class of 2017 gathered in the gymnasium.

Every year this takes place for students to purchase a picture of their classmates and friends all together and for the picture to be posted by the main office. At the end of second block the class of 2017 was called to the gym where they dropped their bags and other items on the side of the gym. Where then they sat side by side most smiling and some straight faced as they took the picture that would forever be frame in the halls of Airport .

One thing that most of the students didn't know was that if any of them would to do anything inappropriate they would be cropped out of the picture. This was stated be all the staff prior to the picture.

One event that most students were looking forward to was the mannequin challenge. After the picture all the students froze into their positions where the minute and a half video was taken. As soon as the video was posted it flooded all over social media and was shared across all types of social media.

One student that attended the picture and mannequin challenge was Justin L. He said, “It was basically like any other picture but the challenge was really fun and it was LOL seeing the video afterwards." He also said, “I made sure to wear my Christmas onesie for the picture."

Overall the opinions on the picture were either it was lane or it was a positive experience. On the other hand opinions on the mannequin were either really enjoy or students just thought it was pointless.
