Health Science teacher pumps up crowd by hitting some ‘sick’ beats

On Friday, November 18, 2016 Airport High School had a pep rally, and health science teacher Amanda Bolin's rendition of "JuJu"-ing was quite the hit. The pep rally was held in the new gym during lunch.

Just when Airport started to lose faith in the E.L.I.T.E. school year, Mrs. Bolin decided to kick the pep rally up a notch by “JuJu”-ing on a beat. Mrs. Bolin definitely got a cardio workout by dancing her heart out. In video footage taken of her, you can see just how prepared she was.

The rally was held on that Friday afternoon to get the students “hyped” for the victorious game against Eastside Varsity Football team. Mrs. Bolin says how she was “glad” she could “pick the students up just by embarrassing herself." Although, Mrs. Bolin does tell us later how she wasn’t scared as much, considering she took dance in her younger years. Imagine all those students! Getting up in front of all those high school students must have been terrifying, right? Not according to Amanda! She said years of teaching, and she isn't afraid of anything anymore. She does admit that she was a tad bit nervous of missing a “beat." I mean, it is titled “JuJu on that beat," correct? “I had to be on my ‘A’ game if you know what I mean," Amanda shared.

Not only was it just Mrs. Bolin who competed in the “juju challenge,” and she knew it. Being forced to dance in front of a whole high school, Amanda had to know what she was up against. She couldn't let the juniors down. She did some research and came to find out Bridgette Wolfe was her competition. Amanda stayed up all night to become proficient in hitting all the right beats. That’s exactly what she did. Even though, Mrs. Bolin didn’t make it to “finals," she still stole the floor!
