Construction continues on new locker rooms

The football and baseball team have been sharing the same locker room for 20 plus year and over those years you can bet there has been a lot of wear and tear on that small building for both the baseball and football team. With Airport High School new renovations they have re-done the tennis courts and more and are in the process of making the 9000 square foot locker rooms.

The Lambert of Architecture and Construction services is the company that is doing all the renovations of Airport High School. The Lambert Architecture and construction came up with a “master plan” and expand their athletic facilities. Airport High School is 269,000 square feet. The locker room being built also includes a new press box up above the baseball field.

Many athletes are excited to be able to use the new locker room and believe the money is being put towards a new locker room. Some students think the money can be put towards other things that need fixing and are more important. I think that the new locker room is gonna be very beneficial for the football team and that having a new locker room is worth the money.

Airport has been going thru many new changes and those changes include a brand new 9,000 square foot locker room being built right now for the football team.
