Parking lot problems persist
Recently at Airport High School there have been some issues regarding the student parking lots. The administration at Airport are well aware of this issue and are doing as much as they can to currently fix it. Students have no parking passes, and park in other student’s spots. The worst part of this is that it will create a domino effect if it is not fixed.
This is a widespread issue at AHS. If the issue isn't resolved it will probably become worse, which will encourage more students to park at Airport’s parking lots without having a parking pass. Within both parking lots, many students do not even own parking passes. The problem is occurring more on the B-Lot side of Airport more than it is over on the A-Lot side.
Bryson P., a brand new driver, fresh from the DMV, has recently purchased a parking pass for school. He himself has realized that every single day, it seems, there's random people that park around his proximity. His opinion on the matter is that it's “a growing problem” and that it “definitely needs to be fixed soon.”
Bryson thinks that this problem could possibly become worse than just students and administrators getting frustrated about stolen parking spaces. He speculated that it could potentially even cause a wreck within the parking lot in some instances. Say, if you're trying to get into your designated parking space that you actually paid for, and someone tries to just abruptly get into that same exact spot, there is actually a possibility that a wreck could happen.
Hopefully all things will be sorted out within each of the Airport student parking lots very shortly. Administration has been working on the problem in order to reduce the amount of students without parking passes to park in the paid parking areas.
