Seniors plan Spring Break 2017 eight months early

It's just the beginning of the school year and seniors are already planning Spring Break! Talk about senioritis!!

Seniors, like Olivia B., are beyond excited for April to come. Her plans are already set in stone. Olivia B. states her friends will be “spending Spring Break 2017 in Myrtle Beach, SC.”

Olivia, an early vacation planner, also states she found a place to reserve through Booking.com. “They always have the best deals, and you don't have to pay to reserve. You just pay when you check in!” Olivia B. says she “plans to go shopping, eat, lay out on the beach, and just have good times with friends.” She wants to make her last Spring Break one she'll never forget. During the interview, Olivia B. shared with me that one time, while on vacation, she learned how to surf. Yes, she did fall down quite a few times. However, she didn't let it ruin the fun! Olivia hopes to enjoy other first-time experiences this upcoming spring break also.

Planning a vacation ahead isn't unusual with Olivia B and friends. They plan Spring Break typically six months early. Other people, however, might say they plan too early. Olivia B. doesn't care. She's getting the best deals! On average, a person plans a trip eight to six months in advance. A student can spend $1000 easily on spring break. Gas, hotel, food, gift shops, etc., all make a vacation very pricey!

Pertaining via Olivia B., a “good start to planning a good vacation” is by using Booking.com. Other useful resources include Trivago, SeatGuru, Kayak, and TripAdvisor.

Did you know the number one place students go on Spring Break is Miami, Florida? The most popular places students go, following Daytona, are the Bahamas, Cabo, Maui, Jamaica, and San Diego. More other cheaper options are Daytona, Myrtle Beach, South Padre, even Cancun!!
